1. About these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Match Ready Ltd ("Match Ready", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17085410), registered office 20 Ground Floor Flat, Algarve Road, Earlsfield, London, United Kingdom, SW18 3EG. They govern your use of the Match Ready app and related services (the "Service").

By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What Match Ready is

Match Ready is a personalised football news and analysis app. It shows you news, original analysis and a daily briefing built from sports data, tailored to the teams, players and topics you follow. It is an information and entertainment service.

3. Using the Service

• You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use.
• You need a Match Ready account (an email address and a password) to use the Service.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You're responsible for keeping your account details secure, for your device, your internet connection, and keeping the app updated.

4. The Service is free

Match Ready is free to use. We do not currently charge for the Service or process any payments through it.

5. Things you must not do

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute our content except as the app allows;
• reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the Service;
• use the Service unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.

6. Our content is information only, not betting or financial advice

Match Ready's content is for information and entertainment only. It is not betting advice, tipping, gambling, or financial advice, and it is not a prediction or guarantee of any outcome. We work hard on accuracy, but we do not guarantee that any statistic, prediction or analysis is available, accurate, complete, up to date, or that your use of it will produce any particular result. Any decision you make is your own and at your own risk. If you choose to gamble, please do so responsibly. Support is available at BeGambleAware.org.

7. Our content and intellectual property

All content in the Service, including our original analysis, writing, design, branding and software, is owned by or licensed to Match Ready Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it within the app. Underlying sports data is provided by third-party data providers and remains theirs.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features at any time.

9. Third-party services and links

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (data providers, news sources, app stores). We're not responsible for third-party content or services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we exclude all implied warranties. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the content (including any betting or financial decisions). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Apple and Google app store terms

If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store: these Terms are between you and Match Ready Ltd, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You confirm you're not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or on a prohibited-parties list. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. Equivalent terms apply to Google Play where relevant.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or others. You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account in the app (Support → Your account → Delete account) and removing the app.

13. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. We do not require you to use arbitration or to waive any right to bring a claim. If you're a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
